All real and personal property, used or usable for the public water system, including
all wells, pumps, mains and water service conduits, and all of the assets of the former
Block Island Water Company, are hereby accepted and confirmed as property of the town
to be administered by the town board of water commissioners on behalf of the town,
as provided in chapter 18 of the Rhode Island Public Laws of 2000.
