§ 11-16. Purpose

The town council, as authorized by G.L. 1956, § 45-35-1, in section 902 of the Charter, establishes a conservation commission within the town for the purpose of promoting and developing the natural resources and protecting the watershed resources, and to preserve natural esthetic areas within the town and the waters adjacent thereto.
